Celebrating Growth, Gratitude, and a Major Milestone

Abich Financial Services began in 2008 when Abe Abich set out to build a practice centered on retirement income planning and financial education. From the beginning, his goal was to help individuals and families better understand the decisions surrounding retirement and consider how each piece fits into their broader financial picture.

After Abe and Shelly married in 2015, they joined forces to lead Abich Financial Services as a family firm. Shelly brought experience in public education and the new business division of a Fortune 500 company, along with a passion for serving older adults. Together, they helped shape a firm focused on thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a personal client experience.

Today, that shared vision continues to guide Abich Financial as the firm grows. This August, we are proud to share an exciting milestone: both Abich Financial Services Inc. and Abich Financial Wealth Management, LLC have been recognized on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of fast-growing private companies in America.

We are grateful for this recognition and even more grateful for the clients, families, team members, and community relationships that have been part of the journey.

Growing While Staying Focused on What Matters

Recognition like this gives us an opportunity to reflect on how far Abich Financial Services  has come since Abe first started the company in 2008. What started with a focus on retirement education and personalized planning has evolved into a team that helps individuals and families take a closer look at the many considerations that shape retirement.

Abe and Shelly Abich have continued to build the firm around education, relationships, and a comprehensive approach to retirement planning. While the organization has grown, the goal remains to help each client evaluate their options and make informed decisions based on their individual goals, needs, and financial circumstances.

We are thankful to everyone who has played a part in that growth and look forward to continuing to serve our clients and community in the years ahead.

An August Check-In for Your Retirement Plan

The second half of the year can be a useful time to review where you stand financially. Retirement planning is not something that happens only once. Changes in income, investments, taxes, healthcare needs, family circumstances, or retirement goals may all affect the strategies you are using.

Consider using this time of year to review your retirement income plan, investment allocation, Social Security strategy, tax considerations, required minimum distributions, beneficiary designations, and other pieces of your broader financial picture.

If it has been a while since you reviewed your retirement strategy, it may be a good time to revisit your goals, current circumstances, and the risks and tradeoffs that could influence your plans in the years ahead.
